About Us
Tiny Swans: Growing Together CIC is an organisation committed to fostering an inclusive and caring environment where every child can thrive, regardless of their background or abilities. Our experienced team focuses on holistic child development through a range of engaging sessions. We believe in the power of play and the importance of family support, ensuring that every child feels valued and understood. Our mission is to create a strong foundation for lifelong learning while nurturing the individual needs of each and every child that walks through our doors.
Tiny Swans was created 16 years ago when our founder, Kirsten, realised from personal experience how few provisions there were that catered to children with additional needs. She made it her mission to create a provision that was open to ALL children - both abled and disabled, neurotypical and neurodiverse.
Over the years, our family has only continued to grow and flourish with hundreds of children coming to our sessions. Our team is a very close-knit group and we are extremely passionate about what we do. We've won three Early Year and Play awards - one for having a Nurturing and Caring Environment and two Special Recognition Awards for the work we have done to support children with additional needs and their families.
To gain the resources to help even more children, we recently made the decision to incorporate into a Community Interest Company. Our existing, much-loved preschool transformed into an early years Brunch Club and we began holding additional sessions such as a Music and Movement session for older children as well as a Parent and Toddler Group. Since then, we've been very fortunate to receive a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund and are in the process of organising even more exciting sessions for children of all ages in the community. We can't wait to see where the future takes us and we hope you'll join us for the journey!
